The GP Unique
As far as hot hatchbacks are concerned you'll be hard-pressed to find one more aggressive than the GP Unique. It's got big intakes, arch extensions and a two-part rear wing; the kind of design features typically reserved for glitzy French unicorns.
Thankfully, the GP Unique doesn't just look mean; it also feels quick. Its engine is smooth, powerful and its 332lb-ft torque is delivered with ease at speeds below 1,750rpm. It's also well matched with the smooth-shifting, six-speed automatic transmission. Mini is extremely focused on lap times, so it's a pity that the GP Unique does not have an automatic transmission.
It's not without faults. The GP Unique's suspension is solid, but not engaging. On a smooth and straight B road, the chassis dynamic limits can be easily stretched, but it's difficult to maintain fluidity when you apply your inputs. The front end becomes slightly snatchy and the car struggles to keep its course when it's under the pressure of irregular British bumps.
Fortunately the GP Unique's handling is excellent once you dial it in. Its front and body control remind us of the JCW racecar we drove last season. It's an absolute pleasure to drive on a smooth road and when you are in a good mood.
The car's chassis also feels very different to that of the regular MT-09, thanks to the fact it has more torsional stiffness and larger axles. The new GP features 24.7 degrees of rake, and 108mm of trail, which is much more on the nose than the R6's - but it also translates into amazing stability in corners.
Another great feature of GP is the PO Generator module. This module lets you look at your current inventory, the min/max levels you've set for each item, and any open POs that your vendors have (i.e. more inventory is expected) and then generates suggested purchase orders you can then send to your suppliers.
The GP 500
The GP 500 is Airoh’s lightest GP Helmet to date. It helps to reduce neck strain, fatigue and improve safety by reducing pressure on the shoulders. The shell is designed to be aerodynamic and features the chin curtain spoiler, which helps enhance aerodynamics and reduce wind buffeting. Its EQRS quick release system is similar to that found on most motorbike helmets designed for track use, allowing emergency services to remove the helmet without causing any discomfort to the wearer's neck.
Like most modern helmets, the GP500 is Snell and SHARP certified, and has a SHARP three star rating. This is not the highest rating, but it's nonetheless a great one given that it offers front to side and back impact protection.
I was very impressed with the quality of the image. The GP500 is capable of projecting images up to 4K and it managed to do so with outstanding clarity. It also had a very low input delays when both Game Mode and Fast Mode were turned on, according to BenQ's published specifications.
It was extremely accurate in terms color with an DeltaE of only 2.3 which is a great value. It also displayed superb grayscale performance, with clear and distinct shades. The GP500 also showed subtle rainbow colors when viewing the Adam Project. These were very easy to spot but they were not intrusive and did not impact the viewing experience.
The sound is also very impressive. The GP500 comes with an independent onboard DSP chip that includes the treVolo psychoacoustic tuning system which creates 3D audio effects. It uses an internal quad-speaker layout which is positioned in each corner of the cabinet. This is designed to create a sound field that is immersive for all viewers, regardless of the position they are in in the room.
There are several options for connectivity that include HDMI inputs 1, 2 and 3 and an optical Toslink SPDIF port to transmit native Dolby Atmos bitstreams to an external sound bar. The GP500 comes with two Type-A USB 2.0 ports to stream content. It also has the 12-volt screen trigger.
The GP 1000
The GP 1000 portable gas monitor is designed to be used in dangerous situations. The GP-1000 is able to directly read up to 25 gases, and features a large, intuitive display that is easy to read. It also comes with an impressive backlight and datalogging capabilities.
The unit is suitable for many applications like mining and construction. It can help you spot dangers at work and protect your employees. It can also reduce the chance of injuries and property damage. It is an affordable solution to your safety needs.

The GP 900
Sceptics might point out that the GP looks like a naked XSR900 dressed in a Wayne Rainey frock. But the truth is that Yamaha's designers worked their magic to create a heartfelt tribute to its rich sporting heritage. The GP's new Deltabox frame and swingarm are both 55mm longer however it is more compact and planted in corners thanks to the altered chassis geometry. In addition, a fully-specified 6-axis IMU provides a range of electronic rider aids for the platform, while KYB suspension is upgraded with a larger front fork and a longer wheelbase.
green scooter 's asymmetrically-shaped fairing has a clever trick up its sleeve, with two air vents that are located inside the cowling, to lower pressure inside and to help disperse heat from the engine. This gives a more streamlined look and helps to reduce the bike's centre of gravity. The GP's colour TFT dashboard, which shows call and message notifications and also offers Garmin StreetCross Navigation and turn-by–turn directions (free the first year) is also an improvement that is welcome.
The GP has three preset riding modes, and a customizable setting that can be set manually by the rider. A new suite of smartphone-connected tech is also included in the GP having a Y-Connect application to integrate smartphones and media controls, as well as cruise control and a brand new USB Type C socket for charging devices.
There's no doubt that the GP 900 is an excellent sports heritage-inspired machine however, it's also the perfect commuter or Sunday blaster. The 117bhp CP3 engine is very user-friendly and has a wide range of power that can be utilized at low revs. Even at road speeds the GP's midrange power is enough to recalculate your speed/time/distance calculations and completely dissect Google Maps estimated time of arrival. The GP's chassis is just right - it's certainly not as painfully stiff as an R6 or as light and agile as a TT500. It's a lot of fun to ride and an absolute blast.
